Electromagnetic Motor Kit

9.00

Description

This is an educational electromagnetic motor kit, designed to demonstrate the basic principles of electromagnetic induction and the operation of a DC electric motor.
It consists of:

  • A laser-cut wooden base (easy to assemble)

  • A copper wire coil (electromagnetic loop)

  • Permanent magnets (circular discs)

  • Metal supports with contact rings

  • A battery holder (usually for 1.5V or 3V total)

  • Connection wires

Dimensions

  • Length: 10 cm

  • Width: 7 cm

  • Height: 6 cm

  • Material: MDF or plywood

  • Power source: 2 × 1.5V batteries (usually not included)

How It Works

When the circuit is connected to electricity, the coil located between the magnets creates a magnetic field.
The interaction between this field and the permanent magnetic field of the magnets produces a rotating force, demonstrating the fundamental principle of a DC electric motor—conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy.
