Customer identification
The codes used to identify you are two: the Login Code (e-mail or username) and the Personal Secret Security Code (password), which each time you enter them provide you with access to your personal information in complete security.
You are given the opportunity to change your Personal Secret Password as often as you wish. The only person who has access to your information is you through the above passwords and you are solely responsible for maintaining its secrecy and concealment from third parties. In case of loss or leakage you must immediately notify us, otherwise the online store of stem-toys is not responsible for the use of the secret password by an unauthorized person. For security reasons, we recommend that you change your password at regular intervals and avoid using the same and easily traceable passwords (e.g. date of birth).
Ensuring the confidentiality of the transfer of your Personal Data
To ensure the confidentiality of data transfer, we use the SSL-128bit encryption protocol. The system has been certified by Geotrust, a company specializing in transaction security.

Automatic Disconnection
If there is no activity for 20 minutes you will be automatically logged out of the members area of the stem-toys online store

Controlled Access (firewall)
Access to stem-toys’ systems (servers) is controlled by a firewall, which allows the use of specific services by customers/users while prohibiting access to systems and databases containing confidential data and information of the company.

Encryption
Wherever on the site you enter personal data (passwords, addresses, phone numbers, credit cards, etc.) there is 128-bit SSL encryption. Encryption is essentially a way of encoding information until it reaches the intended recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
Every time you log on to the stem-toys online store, all communication between your computer and the Investigative Learning systems is encrypted using a 128-bit key. That is, every time you send information to the system, your browser first encrypts it using a 128 bits key and then sends it to the system.
The stem-toys system first decrypts the information it receives using the same key (predefined when you start your connection to the service) and then processes it. Investigative Learning systems send you information following the same encryption process.

Privacy of Transactions
The observance of confidentiality is considered self-evident. The same basic principles that govern traditional transactions apply to e-commerce. All information transmitted by the user/member to stem-toys is confidential and stem-toys has taken all necessary measures to ensure that it is only used to the extent necessary in the context of the services provided. Some of the measures taken are as follows:
Only authorised employees have access to your transaction information and only when necessary, e.g. to process your requests.
Stem-toys Learning does not disclose customer data and their transactions, unless it has a written authorization from you or it is required by a court order or decision of another public authority.
In the event that stem-toys uses third parties to support its systems, it takes care to ensure confidentiality.
You can request any data held about you and the correction of such data if you can document the existence of an error.
For your own safety, you should also treat all information provided through the service as confidential and proprietary and not make any disclosure to third parties.
You will only receive newsletters and printed materials if you wish to receive them and if you indicate this during your membership registration.
In any case, the stem-toys online shop does not in any way disclose or make public your personal data and the information you entrust to us. The personal data which you make available to us with your registration as a member are used exclusively for the execution of your transactions. All information is encrypted and stored in complete security.
