GLASS DISPLAY CASE CONSTRUCTION
- Cover the base of the tray using white gravel.
- Carefully place your crystals on the white gravel. You can use dinosaurs, trees and plants, or your own decorative elements (e.g. other figures, dried flowers, stones, fresh flowers, gemstones) to decorate your crystal showcase. Do not place wet objects (e.g. wet soil) on the tray, as the crystals will dissolve.
- Cover the disc with the transparent cover. Congratulations! Your impressive crystal showcase is complete. You can complement your crystal collection with this!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you add the crystalline compound to hot water, it dissolves into microscopic particles. These particles are too small to see. The liquid is the solution of the powder. In fact, it is a saturated solution, because if you mix more powder, it will not dissolve anymore. Gradually, the water cools down and some amount evaporates. Now, water can’t keep all the particles dissolved, and some begin to reunite. More particles join together, and after some time, groups of particles unite. The particles come together in a way that creates the crystals you see, with straight edges and flat surfaces.
