Wind turbine

Children will construct a wind turbine, which generates electricity capable of powering an LED light.

Students will construct the wooden frame of the wind turbine, impeller, pulley system.

So by turning the impeller, either because of the wind, either by using the crank, this movement is transferred through the 2 pulleys on the motor, which in turn produces electricity that lights the light bulb, turns the motor and the motor turn the LED lights.

This set helps children in understanding of wind energy and convert it into electricity.
